A Message From Our Pastor...
Dear GBCers and friends to GBC,
We welcome all who would like to join us for in person worship. We are working hard to make sure everyone is safe as we gather for worship following all CDC guidelines. Our church leadership has developed a benchmark to determine when our risk of contagion is highest in the region which means, we temporarily reinstitute mask-wearing while inside the building until we fall below that benchmark. If you have not been vaccinated, we ask you to please keep your mask on while you are indoors. While you will not be asked to show proof of vaccination, we do have an honor system that is higher than that of the law of the land. The Scriptures teach us "there is no government anywhere that God has not placed in power. So those who refuse to obey the law of the land are refusing to obey God..." (Romans 13:1-2).
To accommodate the different groups gathering in the building and ensure a smooth transition from service to service, the English-speaking worship service will meet at 10:00 o'clock. We have reopened our Children's ministry, PromiseLand, during the time of worship. We have also started to meet in person Wednesday evenings for Bible Study and Prayer meetings for adults and youth at 6:00 p.m. If you would like more information on our ministries, please reach out to me via email, text, or phone call. I would be delighted to share with you our plans and how you can become a part of our growth.
Zoom and Facebook continue to be alternatives to meeting in person. You can find more information in our e-newsletter available on Facebook or by calling the church office during business hours. We understand there may be those who are not comfortable returning at this time, and we respect their decision. I look forward to worshiping Christ with you every time we gather, in person or online.
In His Grip,
Pastor Artemia
