Pamela I Chisholm

Rev. Pam Chisholm is the Pastor of Greenbrier and prior to her calling to GBC in 2009, she was an Assistant Pastor at Memorial Baptist Church from August 2007. Preceding her ministry at Memorial, she was a member of First Baptist of Gaithersburg for over 20 years, where she served in several capacities including Deacon, Sunday school teacher, Choir member, and Pastoral Search Committees.

Rev. Chisholm received her BS in Information Systems from the University of Maryland, and her Master of Divinity from our local Baptist seminary; John Leland Center for Theological Studies. She, and Greenbrier Baptist, are affiliated with the Baptist World Alliance, Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, NorthStar Church Network, and the District of Columbia Baptist Convention. She also currently works with the Federal government as an Executive Assistant.

Rev. Chisholm was born in Jamaica, West Indies and worked in Public Relations before immigrating to the United States in 1986. She also worked closely with the Jamaica Baptist Union in the 80s, during the period when the current Baptist World Alliance General Secretary, Rev. Neville Callam, was President of the Union. She currently resides in Catharpin, VA. She and her husband, Leslie, have two children, Mbiyu and Maia, and three grandsons.
