Lisa Payne

Lisa Payne has served as Minister of Music/Pianist at Greenbrier Baptist Church since January 2005. Lisa has been employed by Arlington Public Schools since 1989 as an Educational Administrative Coordinator. She is currently the Principal's Administrative Assistant at Arlington Traditional School part-time.

As a young child, Lisa started attending Greenbrier with her parents. She made her Profession of Faith during Vacation Bible School at age nine and became a member of Greenbrier Baptist Church in July 1974. Over the years, Lisa has assisted with Meals on Wheels deliveries, taught the "Girls of Grace" Sunday School class, assisted the Youth Group as chaperone/Bible Study leader, served as Nursery Director, Youth Choir director, VBS teacher/music leader and Summer Day Camp Director. Music has always been an important part of Lisa's life and she enjoys leading the Music Ministry at Greenbrier, where she feels she is "at home".

Born in Washington, D.C., Lisa was raised in Arlington and attended Arlington Public Schools. She is a graduate of Wakefield High School and attended Northern Virginia Community College, Alexandria Campus. She has also resided in Annandale and Falls Church, VA. Lisa moved back to Arlington in 1996, where she currently resides with her two daughters.
